Title: Marketing Manager
Salary: R27,000 pm
To develop, establish and maintain & execute marketing strategies in line with organisational

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
management of the Marketing and Printstation departments on a national basis
manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
nationally for both departments
negotiate marketing development funds with vendors
develop pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of
establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors.
formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products
and services implementing advertising and promotions.
use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of
products, lines, or services, analysing business developments and monitoring market
coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with
developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or
services expected to be in demand.
analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
determine and manage the marketing budget
deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
develop pricing strategy
liaison with media and advertising across the line- fulfill internal marketing requirements
Education and Experience
business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies
technical marketing skills
proven experience in customer and market research
relevant product and industry knowledge – experience with relevant software applications
excellent written and verbal communication skills
organization and planning
problem analysis and problem-solving
formal presentation skills
